Help!!
I'm getting enough or pretty close to enough protein but not nearly enough calories! Before I freak out (I haven't even been on "real" food a week) and call/email my nutritionist, what can I be doing wrong?
What are your tricks? I mean 3 oz. meals you really can't have 1,200 calories........
So bandsters who have some time under your belt, help!!
I like to add some snacks like dairy...string cheese, yogurt, frozen yogurt or fruit. You really do not want to skimp on calories, because it can really actually stall your weight loss. Oddly enough we have to teach our brains that eating is a good thing. Just choose healthy foods that you enjoy and you will do great!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I've never eaten so little so I can't help. I have always been able to get down a cup of food. :)

ReplyDeleteUGH!! Frustrated a bit too early that's why I'm trying to figure it out early so I get it early so I can do it and do it right!!! I mean I didn't go through all this to give up or get it wrong!!

I found the transition to solids to be a bit of a struggle, too. It helps me to supplement with shakes. I still pretty much drink shakes only for breakfast. Your folks have been pretty aggressive with fills it sounds like, so those liquid protien calories might be really important! Hang in there!
